HANBELL HBR-B01 is the heaviest grade in the HANBELL HBR-B series of synthetic polyol ester (POE) refrigeration oils. It is the grade our official cross-reference table pairs with Qishanr QSL-320H, our own 320 class POE grade, and the duty it is paired for is screw compressors operating under air conditioning and heat pump working conditions. HANBELL does not publish a viscosity figure for HBR-B01, so what this page gives you is the class and the cross-reference rather than a specification table built on numbers we cannot source.
We supply it in 18.9 L pails, on any Incoterms 2020 term — EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP and every other rule — and payment is on any commonly used method, including T/T, L/C and PayPal. Send the compressor model and the oil you are replacing, and we confirm the grade against the cross-reference before quoting.
HANBELL HBR-B01 is supplied on published terms: the pack size, the price terms, the payment terms and the documents are the same for every buyer, and they can be quoted without a site visit. The minimum order is deliberately left open, because it is judged case by case: the grade, the quantity, the pack size, the shipping terms and the container load all move it, so a single pail and a full container load are both workable and neither is treated as the normal case. Send us the quantity, the destination port and whether your own brand goes on the pail, and those three turn the table below into a firm quotation. Documents and lead time work the same way on every order: the technical data sheet and safety data sheet for the grade supplied come with the quotation, and the certificate of analysis for the delivered batch comes with the shipment.
| Item | Terms for HBR-B01 |
|---|---|
| Minimum order quantity | Not a fixed figure — confirmed per order, because it is judged case by case: the grade, the pack size, the quantity, the shipping terms and the container load all move it, so a single can and a full container load are both workable |
| Payment terms | Any commonly used payment method — T/T, L/C, PayPal and every other option — confirmed with the order |
| Price terms | Any Incoterms 2020 term — EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP and every other rule — quoted against your destination port |

Full sourcing, OEM and private-label options are set out on our synthetic refrigeration oil sourcing and OEM supply page.
Before you order: send us the compressor model and the oil you are replacing. We check the base oil type and the viscosity class against the cross-reference and confirm the equivalent grade before quoting — that is the same process we apply when a buyer is moving from another brand.
A lubricant order is rarely only a lubricant order. The buyer is usually solving a grade question, an import documentation question, a freight question and a packaging question at the same time — often across more than one product family. Those are the parts of the job we take on, and they are handled by the same team that quotes the oil rather than passed to a third party.
We are a manufacturer rather than a reseller, which is what makes that possible. The blending plant in Foshan, Guangdong runs at 6,000 tonnes a year and has been producing lubricants for more than ten years, so the answer to most of the questions below comes out of our own production and our own paperwork.
| What you are dealing with | What we do about it |
|---|---|
| You are not sure which grade replaces the oil you are running | Send the compressor or unit model, the refrigerant and the oil being replaced. We confirm the equivalent grade and the changeover procedure before you order, and we put the confirmation in writing so it can be checked against the specification. |
| You need a grade that is not a catalogue item | We formulate in-house. Ester base oils and additive packages are produced at our own plant, so a viscosity class or a property target can be matched rather than taken from whatever a distributor happens to hold in stock. |
| Your customer wants their own brand on the pail | OEM and ODM are handled end to end — pail artwork, pack format and material selection — so the shipment carries your label. Private-label work is quoted as a project rather than charged as a surcharge line. |
| You are buying across several oil families | Refrigeration oils sit alongside air compressor oils, vacuum pump oils, hydraulic oils, gear oils and engine oils on the same production site. A mixed enquiry can be quoted, packed and shipped together instead of being split across suppliers. |
| Import clearance needs documentation | Every order ships with a technical data sheet, a safety data sheet and a batch certificate of analysis. Export documents — CE, certificate of origin, MSDS and the transport identification report — are issued as standard, not on request. |
| Your quality system needs independent verification | Third-party testing can be arranged on the batch you actually receive — through SGS or another accredited laboratory — and the report is issued against that batch. Where an external report is a condition of purchase, it is built into the order rather than handled afterwards. |
| Freight is the number that decides the deal | We quote against your destination port on any Incoterms 2020 term — EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP and every other rule — and arrange sea, land, air or express movement. Ask for the CIF or DDP figure to your port — that is the one comparable with a domestic supplier's price. |
| You want to hold stock locally instead of buying container by container | We are recruiting distributors in selected markets and offer market protection to partners who commit to a territory, with technical support and documentation supplied from the plant. |
None of this runs through a separate service department. The same technical contact stays with an account from the first grade question through to repeat orders, which is why a reorder does not start the conversation over again.
If what you need is not described here, send the application rather than the product — the unit, the refrigerant, the operating temperatures and the volume — and we will tell you whether we can make it and what it would take.
Grade confirmation comes before pricing, because a wrong viscosity class is the mistake that costs a compressor. The sequence is the same whether you are buying one pail or a full container:
If you already know the grade and only need a price, send the quantity and the destination port and we will quote directly.
Viscosity class and base oil type are the two selection criteria that matter first. The table below shows where each POE grade in the HBR-B series falls, with the duty each one is specified for.
| Grade | Viscosity class | Typical duty |
|---|---|---|
| HANBELL HBR-B12 | ISO VG 32 | Centrifugal compressors |
| HANBELL HBR-B05 | ISO VG 68 | Medium and low temperature screw compressors |
| HANBELL HBR-B08 | 127.7 cSt at 40 °C | HFC screw compressor duty in air conditioning and industrial refrigeration |
| HANBELL HBR-B09 | 175.2 cSt at 40 °C | Heavier HFC screw compressor duty |
| HANBELL HBR-B04 | ISO VG 220 | Medium and high temperature screw compressors |
| HANBELL HBR-B01 (this product) | ISO VG 320 | Air-cooled and flooded screw compressors — the heaviest grade in the series, and the grade this page covers |
The table lists the HBR grades for which a published viscosity figure is available. HBR-B02, HBR-B06, HBR-B07 and HBR-B10 are not listed because no published viscosity figure for them could be located. HBR-B03 is an alkylbenzene grade and HBR-A01 a mineral grade, so neither is interchangeable with the POE grades above. Confirm the class against the compressor manufacturer’s specification before substituting one grade for another.
If your compressor is already in service, you probably hold a data sheet for a different brand at the same viscosity class. These are the oils the Qishanr cross-reference table pairs with HBR-B01, with Qishanr QSL-320H as our own equivalent:
| Brand | Grade | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Qishanr | QSL-320H | Our equivalent grade in the same viscosity class |
| HANBELL | HBR-B01 | The grade this page covers |
| Bitzer | B320SH | Same viscosity class |
| Suniso | SL320 | Same viscosity class |
| Refcomp | M | Same viscosity class |
| Fusheng | FS300R | Same viscosity class |
| York / Frick | G | Same viscosity class |
| Trane | OIL0025E | Same viscosity class |
| CPI | CPI320 | Same viscosity class |
A cross-reference is the starting point for a specification review — confirm the final choice against the compressor manufacturer’s approved oil list for your model and refrigerant. The same Qishanr table documents this viscosity class as suitable for screw compressors operating under air conditioning and heat pump working conditions. Unlike the 120 class used by HBR-B08, this class does carry a BITZER equivalent — B320SH.
HANBELL HBR-B01 belongs to the HBR-B series, which are synthetic polyol ester (POE) oils rather than mineral oils, and that distinction decides whether the oil works at all. HFC refrigerants are not miscible with mineral oil, so a mineral charge in an HFC circuit does not travel with the refrigerant — oil collects in the evaporator and the compressor sump runs dry. POE is miscible with HFC refrigerants, so the oil circulates through the circuit and returns to the sump. Within the series, HBR-B01 is the heaviest grade: HBR-B12 is the 32 class, HBR-B05 the 68 class, HBR-B08 the 120 class, HBR-B09 the 170 class and HBR-B04 the 220 class.
Choosing the class is the second decision. A lighter oil than the compressor specification calls for thins the film at the bearings; a heavier one raises the drag and the discharge temperature. HBR-B01 sits at the top of the range and is paired with air-cooled and flooded screw compressors, which is where the heaviest film is wanted. The HBR-B series is not the whole HANBELL range: HBR-B03 is an alkylbenzene grade and HBR-A01 a mineral grade, and neither is interchangeable with the POE grades.
Mixing: oils of the same type and viscosity are compatible and can be mixed. If you do not know what is currently in the system, send us the compressor model and we will confirm the equivalent grade and the correct changeover procedure before you order.
Most grade pages in this series carry a table of viscosity, viscosity index, density, flash point, pour point and dielectric strength, because the compressor manufacturer publishes those figures for the grade. HANBELL does not publish them for HBR-B01. The grade appears in the cross-reference table, but no product data sheet for it was located in the manufacturer’s own literature or in distributor archives when this page was published. Rather than fill a table from another grade in the series, or from a third-party site, we have left it out and said so.
That is a deliberate limit rather than an oversight, and it tells you how to read the rest of this page. Everything here comes from one of two sources: the Qishanr cross-reference table, which pairs HBR-B01 with QSL-320H and lists the equivalent grades, and the compressor manufacturer’s specification for your unit. Where a figure is not published, this page does not carry it. If your specification review needs a measured viscosity, ask us and we will send the data sheet for the grade we actually supply — Qishanr QSL-320H — against the delivered batch.
What we will not do: quote a viscosity figure for HBR-B01 that we cannot point to a published document for. If a supplier gives you one, ask which document it came from.
The two supply options exist for different jobs. The original HANBELL product is the right choice where the compressor is still under warranty, where the specification names HANBELL explicitly, or where the manufacturer’s approval has to be documented. Our own Qishanr QSL-320H is the same POE viscosity class, blended at our plant in Foshan, China, and it is the option that makes sense for top-up and replacement work on an out-of-warranty system where landed cost decides the order.
We supply both, so the comparison is made on your application rather than on what we happen to stock. Send the compressor model, the refrigerant and the volume, and the quote will carry both options with the same documentation package behind them. If you are already running a different brand at this viscosity class — a Bitzer B320SH, a Suniso SL320 or a Refcomp M, for example — send the model and we will confirm the equivalent before you commit.
A: HBR-B01 is the heaviest grade in the HANBELL HBR-B series of synthetic polyol ester (POE) refrigeration oils. Our official cross-reference table pairs it with Qishanr QSL-320H, our own 320 class POE grade, for screw compressors operating under air conditioning and heat pump working conditions.
A: HANBELL does not publish a viscosity figure for this grade. What the cross-reference establishes is the class: HBR-B01 is paired with Qishanr QSL-320H, which is a 320 grade. We state the class and not a cSt value, because we cannot point to a published document for a number.
A: Qishanr QSL-320H is our own equivalent. The cross-reference table also lists Bitzer B320SH, Suniso SL320, Refcomp M, Fusheng FS300R, York/Frick G, Trane OIL0025E and CPI CPI320 in the same class. Confirm the final choice against the compressor manufacturer’s approved oil list for your model.
A: Screw compressors operating under air conditioning and heat pump working conditions, and the heavier air-cooled and flooded screw compressor duty where the top grade in the series is specified.
A: It is a POE grade — the HBR-B series are polyol esters. HBR-B03 is an alkylbenzene grade and HBR-A01 a mineral grade, so neither is interchangeable with HBR-B01.
A: Oils of the same type and viscosity are compatible and can be mixed. If you do not know what is currently in the system, send us the compressor model and we will confirm the equivalent grade and the changeover procedure first.
A: 5 US gallon (18.9 L) pails, with custom pack formats quoted as an item. There is no fixed minimum order — the figure is confirmed per order, because the grade, the quantity, the pack size, the shipping terms and the container load all move it.
A: Both. The original HANBELL HBR-B01 is the right choice where the specification names it or the compressor is under warranty; Qishanr QSL-320H is our own 320 class POE grade, blended at our plant in Foshan, China, for top-up and replacement work.
This page carries fewer figures than the other grade pages in the series, and the reason is set out above: the compressor manufacturer does not publish a data sheet for this grade. Every statement here comes from one of the sources below, so each one can be checked before you buy.
| Source | What it establishes |
|---|---|
| Qishanr cross-reference table (official FAQ, entry Q16 for QSL-320H) | The pairing of HANBELL HBR-B01 with Qishanr QSL-320H, and the equivalent grades listed on this page — Bitzer B320SH, Suniso SL320, Refcomp M, Fusheng FS300R, York/Frick G, Trane OIL0025E and CPI CPI320 — together with the application statement that this class suits screw compressors operating under air conditioning and heat pump working conditions. |
| Qishanr official FAQ, entry Q4 (POE series viscosity classes) | The statement that the POE series is produced in VG320 among its viscosity classes. Together with the pairing of HBR-B01 with QSL-320H, this is the basis for treating HBR-B01 as a 320 class POE grade. |
| DIN ISO 3448 — Industrial liquid lubricants – ISO viscosity classification | The viscosity classification behind the 320 class referred to on this page. |
| HANBELL product literature and distributor archives | Searched at the time this page was published for a product data sheet for HBR-B01. None was located, which is why this page carries no specification table and no viscosity figure. |
Standards are cited to the publisher’s official catalogue entry rather than to a mirror, and every link on this page was checked for reachability on the date this page was published.
This oil is manufactured and supplied by Guangzhou Qishanr Technologies Co., Ltd., trading as the brand QISHANR. The company is based in Foshan, Guangdong, adjacent to Guangzhou Port, and has been producing lubricants for more than 10 years from its own blending plant. That plant runs at an annual capacity of 6,000 tonnes, which is what allows us to hold stock on the grades we list and quote firm lead times rather than promising on behalf of a third party.
Refrigeration oils are the core of the business, but they are not the whole plant. The same lines produce general industrial lubricants, so a mixed enquiry that covers both refrigeration oils and ordinary industrial grades can be quoted, packed and shipped together instead of being split across suppliers.
This is not the full range. Specialised ester base oils and lubricant additives are produced in-house as well, which is the reason the synthetic ester grades can be specified to a target rather than bought off a shelf. If the grade you need is not listed above, send the specification or the product you are replacing and we will confirm whether we produce it.
Long-term partners get pricing that reflects a stable manufacturing base rather than a trading margin, and the same technical contact stays with the account from grade selection through to repeat orders.
Send your compressor or unit model, the refrigerant, the oil you are replacing and the quantity you need. We will confirm the grade against the cross-reference table and come back with pricing, pack size and lead time.
