Brand Introduction of Daphne Refrigeration Oil
Daphne Refrigerant Oil is a range of refrigerant oil products for use in refrigeration systems manufactured by Idemitsu Japan. The brand has a wide range of models for different refrigeration equipment and refrigerants. Common models include FV32S (5L/drum), FV50S (5L/drum), FV68S (5L/drum), FV68H (5L/drum), MEL3 (5L/drum), MEL68 (5L/drum), FVC32D (18L/drum), FVC46D (18L/drum), FVC68D (18L/drum), and more.

Working Principle
1. Lubrication and anti-wear property: Daphne refrigeration oils are based on polyvinyl ether (PVE) synthetic base oils, which have excellent viscosity and temperature characteristics. In compressor operation, the oil film needs to be stable at high temperature (e.g. 150℃ at the exhaust valve) and low temperature (e.g. -40℃ at the evaporator) to reduce the friction and wear of the moving parts (e.g. bearings, piston).

2. Temperature adaptability
High temperature stability: The chemical structure of synthetic ether-based oil is stable, and it is not easy to oxidise and decompose or form carbon at high temperature, so as to avoid lubrication failure and acid corrosion caused by oil deterioration.

Low-temperature fluidity: The pour point of refrigeration oil is extremely low (such as FVC32D model as low as -47.5℃), to ensure that in the low-temperature evaporator can still maintain the fluidity of the oil back to the compressor, to prevent lubrication due to the risk of poor oil return to prevent the lack of lubrication or burning.

3. Hydrolysis resistance: Ether structure is less sensitive to moisture, together with antirust additives, it can inhibit the reaction between moisture and refrigerant to generate acidic substances (such as hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid), thus avoiding the corrosion of metal parts.

4. High flash point: The flash point of Daphne refrigeration oil (e.g. 218℃ for FD46XG model) is much higher than the compressor discharge temperature, which avoids burning or coking of the oil at high temperature and ensures safe operation.

Core Features
1. Good refrigerant compatibility: Excellent compatibility with R407C, R410A, R404A and other HFC refrigerants, can ensure that in the refrigeration system and the refrigerant is fully mixed, there will be no stratification or precipitation phenomenon, to effectively avoid the problem of oil return, to ensure that the compressor is well lubricated and cooled.

2. Environmental protection and safety: Free of heavy metals and aromatic hydrocarbons, in line with environmental requirements.

3. Good material adaptability: It has good compatibility with various parts materials in the refrigeration system, such as metal, rubber, plastic, etc., and will not have adverse effects such as corrosion, dissolution or embrittlement of these materials to ensure the sealing and reliability of the system.
